Mount with Wings like Eagles

Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.
Isaiah 40:30-31 NKJV

The journey of life can become very exhausting—filled with challenges, crises, and pressure from every direction. Sometimes, even the good things in life become energy thieves, leaving us tired, weary, and unmotivated, with a feeling of not wanting to keep going.

The secret is to find ways to stay refreshed, inspired, full of purpose, and joy. The Bible tells us that the way to do this is by spending time with God—by waiting on the Lord.

The reward of waiting is renewed strength—spiritually, mentally, and emotionally. It brings fresh joy and peace. It restores what was lost and reveals what is new. It puts us in a position of spiritual strength.

As we seek Him, we must learn to be still in His presence, listening for what the Lord is saying to us.

In stillness, His direction and voice become clearer.
