We are taught in Scripture how and when to give thanks. The verse below tells us to give thanks in everything—whether good or bad. If you read the full instruction, it says, “Rejoice always.”

Thanksgiving often flows from a joyful heart.
And it’s hard for the enemy to defeat someone who has joy.

Joy is powerful because it helps you keep your eyes on Jesus. And when you keep your eyes on Him, prayer and thanksgiving will never leave your life. Those who live this way consistently—always end up victorious.

In everything you go through, give thanks.
Acknowledge the Lord Jesus, who is able to cause all things to work together for your good!
