Our scripture for today describes how Daniel discovered—through the scriptures—that the time of their captivity was up. This understanding led him to pray for its fulfillment. According to Daniel, they were already free; it just needed to manifest.

We’ve been on a journey, and God has already been speaking in various ways. But I want to draw your attention specifically to what He has been saying through the scriptures we’ve meditated on, the messages we’ve heard, and even through these devotions. Little by little, precept upon precept…

I want to encourage you: start writing down what God has been saying so far.

• What keys have you discovered?
• What direction have you received?

Take note of these things—and begin to implement them.

In the book of Daniel, the deliverance of a nation rested on someone discovering what God had already said—written down long before. Don’t ignore the words you’ve received. They carry your breakthrough.
