Neglect Can be Very Costly

And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
Hebrews 10:24-25 NKJV

Our passage in Hebrews encourages us to stir up good works in one another and not to forsake corporate fellowship—especially as the Day of the Lord draws near. We simply cannot afford to doze off spiritually.

But there’s more to this exhortation than just showing up to fellowship. What manifests publicly often begins privately. In other words, what we neglect in our personal relationship with the Lord will eventually show up in our corporate life.

It starts with your personal prayer life, your Bible reading and meditation, and your intentional application of God’s Word in daily life. This is the foundation. We must have a spiritual routine that doesn’t depend on church events or fellowship programs to remain consistent.

When these personal disciplines are neglected, we begin to drift—growing spiritually weak and incurring losses, whether we admit it or not.

Let us not pursue any goal or dream at the expense of our walk with God. Neglecting this area of life is very costly—and the price is too high.
